PRISTINA -- The Kosovo Police Service confirmed that the Kosovo Return Minister received threats on Tuesday.

KPS spokesperson Veton Eljshani said that Minister Branislav Grbic was threatened by a person know to both the police and the minister.

“The threat was made via telephone.” Eljshani said, though he did not give any more details because of the ongoing investigation.

Pristina media reported today that Grbic was threatened by a person who currently resides in Niš.

Grbic was named Return Minister after the resignation of Serbian Democratic Party of Kosovo President Slavisa Petkovic from the ministerial position.
