Serbia and Serbs are not prepared to accept any form of Kosova's independence even if this independence is imposed by the international community, said Bishop of Raska and Prizren Artemije after meeting US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia Rosemary Di Carlo in Washington. If independence is imposed, then Serbia will take on the position of any other country when a part of its territory has been seceded and will attempt to reclaim it through democratic means, Bishop Artemije added. He presented information that proves the strengthening of the radical Islamic element in Kosova with the disappearance of thousand years of Christian culture, showing similarities between Kosova Liberation Army terrorists and Hezbollah. Bishop Artemije expressed his hopes that the US government will reconsider its current policy on Kosova and change it so it will be in agreement with international legal principles.
