Is there local participation in governing Kosovo?
Under the supervision of the U.N. civil administration (called UNMIK) and KFOR, there is also a local, quasi-governmental administration. This administration has been boycotted by Christians Serbs for failure to protect their most elementary human rights – especially the right to live without fear of violence – at the hands of Muslim Albanian terrorists. This local administration is dominated by veterans of the so-called “Kosovo Liberation Army.”
